ICCF 2026 Masterclasses Open Doors to Performance and Mentorship
The International Chamber Classics Festival (ICCF) 2026 places a strong emphasis on artistic development through its carefully designed programme of masterclasses, offering a unique opportunity for young musicians to refine their craft in an inspiring and highly professional environment.
Dedicated to the core disciplines of piano, violin, viola, and cello, the ICCF masterclasses are led by internationally acclaimed performers and pedagogues. These sessions provide participants with intensive, hands-on guidance, focusing not only on technical precision but also on the deeper aspects of interpretation, musical dialogue, and stylistic awareness within the chamber music tradition. The close interaction between students and professors fosters an atmosphere of artistic exchange, encouraging individuality while nurturing ensemble sensitivity.
Participants may choose between active and passive involvement, each offering valuable insights into the learning process.
Active participants benefit from a one-day individual masterclass, complemented by full access to observe all other lessons and festival concerts. In addition, they may be selected to perform in a chamber concert alongside members of the faculty—an exceptional opportunity to gain stage experience at a high professional level. Their participation is further recognized with a certificate of achievement, as well as exclusive invitations to networking events with prominent figures from the international classical music scene.
Participation fee: 150 EUR.
Passive participants are granted full access to observe all masterclasses and concerts throughout the festival, allowing them to absorb a wide range of artistic perspectives. Their programme also includes a dedicated technique lecture led by renowned violist Diemut Poppen, offering valuable insights into instrumental mastery and performance practice.
Participation fee: 80 EUR.
Through this comprehensive educational platform, ICCF 2026 continues its mission to support the next generation of chamber musicians, combining high-level instruction with meaningful performance and networking opportunities.
