Konstantin Ishkhanov stands out as a distinguished businessman and cultural philanthropist, spearheading numerous international music festivals, competitions, and academies in his role as President.
Born in 1970, Ishkhanov’s early exposure to a culturally vibrant environment left a lasting impact, despite his parents not being musicians themselves. This background inspired a lifelong dedication to the arts, leading him to pursue cultural endeavors at a global scale.
Initially, Konstantin Ishkhanov focused on advanced technology research following his postgraduate studies. However, by 2010, he shifted his priorities, dedicating his expertise and resources to the arts. This transition gave rise to a series of prestigious cultural initiatives that have garnered international acclaim.
Notable among these is the InClassica International Music Festival, soon entering its 14th year, along with other celebrated events such as the ClaviCologne Piano Festival, International Chamber Classics Festival, Symphonic Middle East Festival, Accordi Musicali International Music Festival, Eurasian Stars International Music Festival, and the Modern Composers Festival. Konstantin Ishkhanov personally oversees these events, ensuring their success and growth on the global stage.
He also presides over prominent international competitions, including Classic Piano, Classic Cello, Classic Violin Olympus, and Classic Winds. His influence extends across a diverse array of cultural projects, from music academies and concerts to ballets and ice shows.
In 2019, KonstantinIshkhanov was honored as the first non-Maltese recipient of Malta’s highest cultural accolade for his "Exceptional Contribution to the Cultural Life of Malta," underscoring his significant impact on the international arts community.
